Air fryer beef fajitas recipe. Learn how to cook delicious Mexican beef fajitas in an air fryer. Please note, that the cooking time is just an estimate and can vary based on the Air Fryer model. I used my Kyvol Air Fryer, to make this yummy recipe.
To Make Air Fryer Beef Fajitas, You Will Need:
1 pound flank steak, sliced against the grain
2 tablespoons olive oil
1/4 cup (60 ml) freshly squeezed lime juice
1/2 teaspoon ground cumin
1/2 teaspoon hot sauce
1/2 teaspoon salt
1 red onion, peeled and diced
1 teaspoon chili powder
1 green bell pepper, cored and sliced
1 red bell pepper, cored and sliced
2 tablespoons chopped fresh cilantro
To make the fajitas, combine the flank steak, olive oil, chili powder, cumin, salt, and pepper in a large bowl. Toss to coat.
Place the steak in the air fryer basket. Cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 10 minutes, or until cooked through.
Remove the steak from the air fryer and set aside.
Add the red onion and bell peppers to the air fryer basket. Cook at 400 degrees Fahrenheit for 5 minutes, or until softened.
Serve the steak and vegetables with tortillas, guacamole, salsa, and sour cream. Garnish with cilantro leaves.
Here are a few tips for making the best air fryer beef fajitas:
* Use flank steak or skirt steak for the beef. These cuts are lean and tender, and they cook quickly in the air fryer.
* Cut the beef into thin strips against the grain. This will help the beef cook evenly and remain tender.
* Marinate the beef in a flavorful marinade for at least 30 minutes before cooking. This will add flavor and moisture to the beef.
* Air fry the beef in batches to avoid overcrowding the air fryer. This will help the beef cook evenly.
* Serve the beef fajitas with your favorite toppings, such as guacamole, salsa, sour cream, cheese, and lettuce.
If youโre looking for a vegetarian alternative, you can use tofu or tempeh in place of the beef. For a gluten-free option, use corn tortillas instead of flour tortillas. You can also add your favorite toppings to the fajitas, such as guacamole, sour cream, salsa, cheese, and cilantro.
