This recipe is so good it will make you want to eat it every day. It’s healthy and easy to prepare, and the best part is that you can cook it in an air fryer.

I have been cooking with my air fryer for a while now, and I can tell you that I love how easy it is to use. I’m always looking for new recipes to try out, but usually, they are not as healthy as this one. This chicken fajita recipe has a lot of veggies in it which makes me feel better about eating them more often. It also has lots of protein from the chicken which gives me energy for the rest of the day.

It’s hard to believe that these chicken fajitas are so good for you when they taste so delicious!

Can you make chicken fajitas without an air fryer?

I have not tried this, but I think that you can make this recipe without an air fryer.

You can use a skillet or a grill pan to cook the chicken and peppers.

You could also use a regular oven instead of an air fryer.

Air Fryer Chicken Skewers

Ingredients

  • 1 pound (480 g) boneless and skinless chicken breasts, cut into strips
  • 3 bell peppers, cored and sliced
  • 1 yellow onion, peeled and chunked
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1 tablespoon fajita seasoning mix
  • 1 lemon, sliced

Method

Step 1

In a large mixing bowl, combine all ingredients, except the lemon. Mix well.

Step 2

Preheat your air fryer to 400 F (200 C) for 5 minutes.

Step 3

Spray the air fryer basket with nonstick cooking spray. Place chicken and vegetable mixture in the greased basket, then lightly spray with cooking spray.

Step 4

Fry at 370 F (185 C) for 7 minutes. Shake the basket and continue cooking for a further 5-8 minutes, or until the chicken is cooked through.

Step 5

Remove cooked chicken fajitas from the fryer. Transfer to a serving plate. Top with lemon wedges. Serve hot.
