Air fryer Szechuan chicken wings recipe. Crispy, crunchy, and perfectly spicy! This recipe is for a hot plate of Szechuan chicken wings using an air fryer. These are not your average finger food.
Please note, the cooking time is just an estimate and can vary based on the Air Fryer model.
Air frying is a technique that cooks food in an airtight space. This method uses lower air pressure and less heat. The result is a crispy and crunchy outside with a moist, tender inside.
Air fryers are becoming more popular due to their ability to cook food using less oil and produce healthier meals when compared to deep-frying or using traditional ovens.
Szechuan chicken wings are traditionally deep-fried chicken wings coated with spices before being served. This dish has become more popular in recent years due to the increased availability of these types of air fryers from retailers like Amazon, Williams-Sonoma, and Costco, which make it easier for consumers to quickly prepare them without having to go through the traditional cooking process required by most deep fryers or ovens.
What are the benefits of using an air fryer?
Many people are using air fryers because they offer many benefits. They are easy to use, can save time, and they donโt require oil.
Air fryers also have a long shelf life and can be used in the oven or on the stovetop as well. Air fryers are also very safe and easy to clean.
Air fryers cook food faster than traditional cooking methods like grilling or baking. They also use less oil than other cooking methods which is good for those with dietary restrictions like veganism or vegetarianism. Unlike other cooking methods, the food does not stick to the pan or get burnt which is good if you donโt want to lose your food. They are also a good choice for those who cook for a large group of people because setting up multiple pans on the stove is difficult and time-consuming.
