Ingredients
- 2 oz (60 g) semisweet chocolate,thinly chopped
- 2 oz (60 g) white chocolate,thinly chopped
- 2 oz (60 g) superfine sugar
- 6 tablespoons butter,softened
- 1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 1 tablespoon milk
- 1 egg yolk
- 3/4 cup all-purpose flour
- 1/2 teaspoon baking powder
- 1/2 cup rolled oats
Method
Step 1
Lightly grease 2-3 baking trays with cooking spray. Place the low grilling rack in turbo oven.
Step 2
Combine the sugar and butter in mixing bowl and beat until smooth. Add the vanilla extract,milk and egg yolk and mix well.
Step 3
Combine baking powder and all-purpose flour and mix into the creamed mixture with oats and chocolate. Set turbo oven temperature to 325°F (160°C).
Step 4
Spoon large teaspoons of mixture into rounds of prepared baking trays(4-6 per tray) and flatten slightly. Bake one tray at a time for 7-12 minutes,until golden and risen. Remove double chocolate cookies from the turbo oven and leave to cool for 5 minutes on the baking tray. Cook the second tray of double chocolate cookies. Transfer each batch of baked cookies to a wire rack rack to cool completely.
