Slow Cooker Sausage Mushroom Pasta Recipe

Ingredients

  • 3/4 pound (360 g) sweet Italian sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 28 oz (840 ml) can crushed tomatoes, undrained
  • 8 oz (240 ml) can tomato sauce
  • 6 oz (180 ml) can kernel corn, drained
  • 1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2/3 cup (160 ml) water
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • hot cooked spaghetti

Method

Step 1

In a large nonstick skillet, cook sausage, stirring, until cooked through. Drain off fat.

Step 2

In a slow cooker, combine remaining ingredients. Stir in cooked sausages.

Step 3

Cover slow cooker and cook on low-heat setting for 6-8 hours.

Step 4

Serve cooked sausages and tomato mixture over cooked spaghetti.
