  • 3/4 pound (360 g) sweet Italian sausages, sliced
  • 2 cups sliced mushrooms
  • 1 yellow onion, peeled and chopped
  • 2/3 cup (160 ml) water
  • 2 cloves garlic, peeled and chopped
  • 1 tablespoon granulated sugar
  • 1 teaspoon dried rosemary
  • 1/4 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
  • hot cooked fussili pasta

    In the information given above this recipe, you explain the benefits of cooking pasta in a slow cooker. However, the recipe given requires cooked pasta. Please can you explain this. Is the pasta cooked traditionally and served separately, or is uncooked pasta added to the slow cooker. Apologies but I do find this confusing..
