Slow Cooker Lemon Chicken Breasts
Ingredients
- 2-3 pounds (960-1440g) skinless and boneless chicken breasts
- 1/4 teaspoon salt
- 1/8 teaspoon freshly ground black pepper
- 2 tablespoons capers, drained
- 1 teaspoon lemon zest, grated
- 1 cup (250 ml) chicken broth
Method
Step 1
Put chicken breasts in slow cooker. Sprinkle chicken with salt and freshly ground black pepper.
Step 2
In a medium-size bowl combine capers, chicken broth, and lemon zest. Mix well. Pour the mixture over chicken breasts in slow cooker.
Step 3
Cover crock pot. Cook on low-heat for 6-7 hours
